"I'm not really a stress-head, it's just that some situations drive me barking mad! Rufus & Coco's Anxiety Aid keeps me calm during stressful situations like going in the car, meeting new two-legged friends of being left alone. So, now I am feeling so much more 'chilled out' - and my owner is too!"
This product does seem to work well, but I wonder why it has such a sweet smell [and I presume- sweet taste] like strawberry lollies or similar. Cats don't eat sweet food, I really have to trick my cat to get her to eat it...only use a tiny amount in a lot of food, Maybe , or other savoury flavour, would be easier to use.
This stuff has saved my cat life.. he was so scared of anyone walking into our property any noise would scare him even anyone yelling around him.. he would just *** anywhere in our house which he now has stopped and he is so much for karma on this stuff.. we were going to head to the vet to get some help but this stuff definitely give it ago first.. for $25 you can't go wrong.. thank you Rufus & coco
I am happy to say we are having some success with the Rufus and Coco Anxiety Aid powder with our almost 11 year old Cavalier Renae. I am not sure if her health problems have created some anxiety, I know with mine, they do, so I would assume it's possible for an animal to feel anxious as well if they haven't been well. We have had her on it twice a day for a good 2 and half weeks now, and in that time she's had none of her mini /trance like fits *touch wood* (which she had been having regularly for every day, sometimes a few times a day for months) and we feel her shakes have become less intense.. they are still there, but are not as full on as they were. At this stage, while we are seeing some results, I will continue to give it to her. Shes sleepy a lot, which she was before anyway, but i suppose it could be making her a bit more drowsy, but other than no other side effects that we can tell at this stage. So I'm glad I bought some to try! :)
As a canine behaviourist, I am always looking for new and innovative ideas to help alleviate dog anxiety. In this modern world, anxiety is the most common cause of unwanted dog behaviours. It is also becoming an increasing animal welfare issue, with dogs suffering physically and mentally as a result. The Rufus and Coco Anxiety Aid contains tryptophan, an amino acid that works as a precursor to serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter (a chemical that transmits information from one neuron to another. There is evidence that serotonin helps improve mood and memory, and a reduction in serotonin can result in increased anxiety and depression. Increasing the amount of tryptophan in a dog's diet may assist in improving a dogs state of mind, which is of course a great outcome for them as well as those who love them; us!
