How to use

How to use Flea Flee to get rid of fleas & lice:

First, get your little mate all wet with warm water. Now put 20 to 50ml of Rufus & Coco Flea Flee on the coat (depending on size) and massage in. Rinse and repeat – with a really good lather! Rinse again.

Do this every week and you’ll give your pet maximum protection against fleas, lice and ticks. (And don’t forget their bed or kennel – flea spray will ensure the blighters don’t come back!)

Not to be used for any purpose, or in any manner, contrary to the product's label unless authorised under appropriate legislation.

Suitable for 12 weeks of age and older

How to look like new again with our Self-Cleaning Slicker Brush:

Start by brushing your little mate in the direction of your pet's fur first to remove debris. Separate the fur by brushing from the skin out, then brush slightly against the grain of the coat to remove dead hair.

To clean brush, simply press button on back and lift away fur!

For best results, use with Rufus & Coco's range of furrific washes and a spritz of 4in1 Pamper Spray to smooth and detangle.

How to clip claws and nails with our Safety Nail Clippers & File:

Take your mate's paw in your hand and gently put the nail into the area between the clippers, resting on the guard so as to not cut off too much. Clip each nail and then finish off any rough edges with the handy file that folds out from the handle.

How to dry your pet with our Bone Dry Chamois:

Simply remove the Bone Dry Chamois from the canister and wipe over your pet until dry. When the chamois feels heavy and full, just wring it out and keep drying.

Caring for your chamois:

After use, rinse the chamois with water and wring it out. Then roll and fold it into the Bone Dry Chamois canister with the lid lightly closed. If the chamois becomes dry and hard, soak it in water for revitalisation.

How to care for your pet's ears and wounds with Ear & Wound Care:

Ears:

Routine cleaning: Instill Rufus & Coco Ear & Wound Care liberally into your pet's ear canal. Massage the base of the ear to loosen the wax. Repeat as required. If your pet is showing signs of ear irritation or inflammation then follow the routine cleaning directions - repeating 1 to 3 times a day for several days or as directed by your vet.

Wounds:

Apply Rufus & Coco Ear & Wound Care liberally to the wound to aid in the removal of necrotic tissue coagulum and debris. Repeat application 2 to 3 times a day as necessary.

Ingredients

Flea Flee contains:

  • Pyrethrins: these natural extracts are made from chrysanthemum flowers and affect the nervous system of insects. All pyrethrins are easily hydrolysed and degraded by stomach acids so toxicity following ingestion by pets is very low. Pyrethrins are generally safe for kittens as young as 4-6 weeks of age. Pyrethrin is NOT the same as permethrin. Permethrin is a synthetic pyrethrin and is less easily broken down than pyrethrin. Pyrethrins can be used on cats; permethrins should NOT be used on cats. However, there are some unusual cases of pyrethrins causing dribbling and unsteady gait in cats. If these occur, wipe off excess product and contact a veterinarian.
  • Piperonyl butoxide (PBO) is a pesticide synergist when added to insecticide formulations.
  • 1g/L pyrethrins and 10g/L piperonyl Butoxide

Ear & Wound Care contains:

  • Propylene Glycol, Malic Acid, Benzoic acid and Salicylic Acid. These acids are very mild, but effective. They are so gentle, in fact, that they are even found in some packaged foods!
  • Warning: To rule out the possibility of other ear problems such as the presence of grass seeds, it is important to obtain the correct diagnosis before commencing use of the product. If no improvement is noted, consult your veterinarian.

Clippers

Safety Information for use with our Easy Trim Cordless Clippers:

  • Only use animal clippers to cut animal hair.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not use near water.
  • Remove batteries if clippers won't be used for an extended period of time.
  • Always replace both batteries at the same time.
  • Switch off the clippers directly after use.

1. Batteries

  • Insert 2 x AAA batteries (not included) ensuring the positive and negative symbols are matched on the batteries and the clippers. Rufus & Coco recommend the use of high quality batteries to ensure optimum performance.

2. Trimming your pet's hair

  • For best results, wash your pet before clipping and ensure pet is totally dry. You may wish to use a blow dryer on a low, cool setting!
  • Brush your pet thoroughly and if hair is too long, cut shorter with scissors before clipping.
  • Choose your desired hair length and attach the comb as shown in the image, ensuring it clicks into place.
  • Turn clippers on and let your pet get used to the noise before clipping.
  • Trim your pet by using the clippers in the direction of hair growth, or against for a closer trim if requires. Do not force the clippers through the fur quickly, as this may cause discomfort.

3. Cleaning the blade and clippers

  • Always turn off the clippers before cleaning.
  • After each use, remove hair clippings from the blade by holding the clipper with the blade down and brushing between the teeth.
  • Remove the blade regularly to ensure the clippers stay clean. With the on/off switch facing you, push the blade away with your thumbs. Brush inside the clipper head to remove any hair. To replace the blade, turn the clippers around and push the blade back into place.

4. Oiling the blade

  • To ensure the longevity and effectiveness of your clippers, oil the blade before and after each use. Take the comb off the clippers and hold the clippers with the blade facing down, then place a few drops of oil along the blade. If your oil runs out, refill the dropper bottle with any vegetable oil.
