So relieved to find the *** mat. It was suggested by a neighbour who used it for her dachshund after I told her about my frustration in toilet training my dog (rescue 2.4 yrs old) . I even tried the costly outdoor loos with synthetic grass - big fail. My female miniature dachshund took to the *** mat straightaway. I leave one in my spare bathroom where she happily uses it. I bought 4 to alternate every one- two days so you don’t get any smell. Though you can put it into the wash I just give it a good hose with detergent in my little front courtyard and leave it to dry. My neighbour said she soaks hers in a bucket overnight as she hasn’t got a yard. You can use it without smell for two days then I advise to circulate. It really soaks up any *** (surface dry for dog) and you can see a slight discolouration to know your dog has gone. Keeps the apartment and the dog clean and tidy and no need to take your pet out in the middle of the night. It worked for me. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
