How To Use
How to provide the purrfect potty:
First, cover your litter tray with a Rufus & Coco Elasticised Litter Tray Liner. Now, fill your litter tray with 2-3cm of Rufus & Coco Wee Kitty Clumping Corn Litter. Once soiled, scoop up and discard clumped waste daily and stir pellets to aerate. Top up with fresh litter as needed and regularly replace the entire litter once a month.
If your furry friend is hesitant to change litter types, simply sprinkle some of the existing litter over the top of Rufus & Coco Wee Kitty Clumping Corn Litter until they have adjusted.
Wee Kitty Clumping Corn Litter is made from corn and natural plant fibres, combined with a binding agent and fragrance. It is a safe, natural based product. Wee Kitty Clumping Corn Litter does NOT contain bentonite clay.
Q: Is it safe to change cat litter when I’m pregnant?
A: If you are pregnant, you may have heard that you should not change cat litter during your pregnancy. Changing cat litter may put you at risk of contracting a parasitic infection known as toxoplasmosis. The effects of toxoplasmosis are mild to you, but if you are infected during pregnancy, your baby is at risk of being infected as well, and it may cause more serious problems for your baby. Cats are known to be common carriers of the parasite that causes toxoplasmosis. The parasite lives inside of the cat’s intestines and is passed into their feces. Therefore, someone else should change the cat litter for you. If you need to, make sure you use gloves and a mask and wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water afterwards.
Q. What do I do if my dog eats the litter?
A: As Wee Kitty Clumping Corn Litter is a natural product, ingesting small amounts will not harm your pet. Be sure to give your pet plenty of water to help break down the product, and of course, if they appear to be unwell or in pain, please seek veterinary attention.
Q. Why is there controversy around clay-based cat litters?
A: Clay cat litters are made from bentonite, a type of swelling clay. When liquid is added, bentonite swells to approximately 15 times its original volume. When cats or kittens use the litter box, they lick themselves clean and may ingest the clay and breathe in the dust created from clay.
Anecdotally, many cat owners worry about what might happen when their cats and kittens ingest the clay, and it swells and expands in their intestine, potentially causing blockages and dehydration.
Some owners are also concerned about their cats breathing in the dust and the possible respiratory damage this might do.
Clay litters cannot be composted or flushed away and are not biodegradable. Natural alternatives to clay kitty litters, such as plant-based litters, are a good alternative if you're concerned that clumping clay litter is bad for your cat's health.
Rufus & Coco Wee Kitty Clumping Corn Litter is made from corn and is therefore non-toxic, safe for you and your pets, clay free and biodegradable.
Q. Is the bag recyclable?
A: Our packaging is regarded as soft plastic. This means it can be recycled at dedicated collection points found at most major supermarkets.
Q. How do I transition my cat to a new litter?
A: If your furry friend is hesitant to change litter types, simply sprinkle some of the existing litter over the top of Rufus & Coco Wee Kitty Clumping Corn Litter.
Q. How can one bag of Wee Kitty Litter last as long as four bags of clay?
A: Due to the high absorption and concentrated clumping, with just a little shake of the tray, the soiled areas quickly and easily clump and become easily identifiable on the surface. By simply removing these clumps, significantly less wastage occurs each day, making the product last far longer compared to most other litter types.

"You know a girl like me considers the environment too! My owner used to have to change my litter every day, but not any more thanks to Rufus & Coco Wee Kitty Clumping Corn Litter. Now one tray of litter can last up to 4 weeks by simply removing the… ahem… clumped bits! So, good for the environment and my owner's wallet! Now back to my cat nap…"
All I hoped for:reduced smell and tracking, plus flashable!
I adore the soy litter but the corn litter is a very very close second. So easy to clean up and so good at absorbing the unpleasant smells!
I find Wee Kitty Clumping Corn Litter is great in reducing the odour my cat leaves in the litter tray (and therefore in my house!). It also reduces the amount of litter I am buying each month. I like that it is environmentally friendly. Used in conjunction with Rufus & Coco tray liners, cleaning up after my cat is ‘almost’ enjoyable! It’s certainly easier :)
The only litter that control the smell to 100% no smell at all.
I've been using this litter for over 1 year now and I love it. It is easy to use and flushes will, controls odours and best of all lasts a long time. Money will spent!!!
